About the Job
Position Summary: Assembles components according to product specifications.
Essential Functions:
Maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment; follows all safe work procedures.
Assembles, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components according to specifications as outlined
Interprets work documents, bill of material and procedures.
Exhibits and maintains a high level of accuracy and efficiency producing a quality product.
Accurately conducts product tests, calibrates parts to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards
May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels
Identify and document non-conformities
Inspects results to ensure conformance with work documents.
Packages/ over-packs products as needed.
Promotes a team spirit throughout the workplace; generously offers support and willingly shares information with co-workers.
Positively adapts to various assignments.
Maintains a customer focus consistent with company mission.
Assists with cycle counting and physical inventories as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Willing to work overtime hours as requested on an ad-hoc basis.
Qualifications:
*High School diploma or equivalent required
0-1 year assembly experience
*Good computer skills required
*Ability to comprehend procedures and documentation written in English required
Knowledge of hand tools, power tools and other manufacturing tools as needed
*Ability to identify, form, and install various components required
Knowledge of blueprints/schematics preferred
Strong communications skills
Physical Demands:
Required to lift on a regular basis up to 25 lbs
may at times be up to 65 lbs.
Regularly required to stand all day, bend, reach, and move about the facility
