Summary:
As a 1st Shift Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting products according to detailed work instructions, blueprints, and quality standards. This role involves working with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure products meet company and customer specifications. Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to producing quality work are essential in this role.
Location: Brillion, WIPay: Starts at $16/hour and you are guaranteed a $1/hour increase every 6 months until you reach $20/hour
Schedule & Shift: Monday - Thursday (4 days x 10 hours) working 4:30AM - 2:30PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and build products according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and written instructions.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other machinery as required for the assembly process.
- Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure all products meet standards.
- Identify and report any issues or defects in materials, tools, or instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
- Follow company safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Document and report completed work and production totals as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to [weight requirement, e.g., 25-50 lbs] as required.
- Dependability and punctuality are critical for this role.
