Assembler Brazer - Spherion

A Brazer is responsible for joining metal components together through a process of heating and melting. Hand held tools are used, and one must be knowledgeable in a variety of brazing techniques and metals. One must be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams, and have a good eye for detail. A Brazer must have good manual dexterity and understand physics, chemistry and mathematics.

Responsibilities:
*Prepare brazing material and equipment
*Assemble components and brazing parts
*Ensure quality of brazed components
*Maintain and repair brazing equipment

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
*Ability to read and interpret blueprints
*Ability to use appropriate brazing and soldering equipment
*Excellent hand eye coordination
*High level of attention to detail

Education:
Trade

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
*Knowledge of soldering and or brazing techniques
*Ability to interpret drawings and diagrams
*Proficiency in using hand tools
