Location: North Charleston, SC
Duration: 6 months
Description:
Performs advanced, specialized or prototype production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies and subassemblies using automated assembly operations.
May provide assembly operation guidance to other assemblers.
Top 3-5 Technical/Software Skills needed to perform this role/job:
Aircraft maintenance
Systems repair
Functional test/operational test
Systems Installations
IFE - In Flight Entertainment maintenance and test
15-20 years experience
Aircraft maintenance
Flight readiness
A&P License (A&P is more of a hard preference rather than a requirement. Someone who has worked in the Aviation Industry could potentially not have their A&P but still be a good fit.)
Experience with exterior panels, paint, sealant, ti-foil
Experience with composite repair
Knowledge of aircraft systems (power, hydraulics, IFE (in-flight entertainment), troubleshooting
Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+5 years' related work, Bachelor+2 years' related work, etc.).
