Assembler lI for a Hemet, CA-based manufacturing company. This position is temporary - to - hire The ideal candidate should possess essential assembly skills, such as blueprint interpretation or sketches, electromechanical assemblies hand tools, and pneumatic tools. Experience in woodworking, cardboard, and packing is helpful. Please refer to the job requirements below to be considered for this position.
I. Summary of Position:
Performs mechanical assembly of electromechanical assemblies, subassemblies, mechanisms, and systems in accordance with production/engineering specifications, sketches, and/or verbal instructions.
II. Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
• Performs mechanical assembly of electromechanical assemblies, subassemblies, mechanisms, and systems in accordance with production/engineering specifications, sketches, and/or verbal instructions.
• Performs assembly work requiring a high degree of dexterity.
• Uses tools and fixtures for detailed locating and positioning of parts.
• Adjusts, aligns, and tightens using an air vise, hand tools, pneumatic tools, and drill presses. Drill presses are currently only used in the WS Assembly line.
• Keeps track of inventory in work area, and notifies supervisor when material is needed.
• Identifies and replaces or reports defective subassemblies.
• Conducts simple go-no-go testing.
• Observes and follow all safety regulations and company policies.
III. Other Responsibilities and Functions:
• Operates powered industrial truck (forklift) to load and unload material.
• Observes and follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe work area. Maintains dedication to collaboration and a positive, encouraging demeanor toward all personnel.
• Performs duties as assigned to ensure the success of projects, individuals, and the company.
• Supports improvement activities (DBS).
IV. Education and Experience:
• High School or equivalent.
• Experience: 2+ Years of mechanical/electromechanical assembly
V. Skills and Competencies:
• Knowledge of basic assembly processes.
• Skills level is determined by Skills Matrix and Leveling Guide.
• Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions, specifications, blueprints, or sketches.
• Self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, upbeat, conscientious, transparent, and detailed.
• Quality conscious with the ability to meet productivity goals.
• Excellent communication skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of ownership and accuracy in all work activities.
• Ability to work in a positive manner with other associates within cell areas and develop and maintain strong working relationships across teams and subject areas.
• Can adapt and operate within a high-performance culture.
VI. Work Environment:
The work environment consists of an indoor industrial work environment with good ventilation, adequate lighting, and low to moderate noise levels.

- The pay range is $17.50 - $18.00 hourly
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 6 am – 2:30 pm, with occasional overtime and Saturdays, OT is not guaranteed but is required when scheduled.
