1st Shift hours: 6:00AM-2:30PM Mon-Fri
The Assembler will work in a great collaborative environment and be responsible for assembling low and medium voltage electrical switchgear cabinets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Interpret assembly and elevation drawings
- Construct modular steel cabinets and copper buss assemblies
- Read tape measure
- Experience using manual hand tools (wrench, screwdriver, pliers)
- Experience with power tools (drill, impact, pneumatic torque wrench)
- Team player, able to work within a team environment
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
- Ensure proper protective equipment is worn at all times and tools or other equipment are properly used base on the task
- Follow control document procedures
- Regular in-person attendance is an essential function of this job

- Must be able to read and understand blueprints and drawings
- Must be able to use shop equipment and hand tools
- Excellent mechanical skills
- Perform basic math functions including an understanding of fractions and decimals and read tape measure
- Perform basic computer skills
