Description: | Purpose: To assemble safely a quality product according to company policies/procedures on a timely basis. Essential Functions: 1. Prioritize safety every day. 2. Assemble product according to prints 3. Utilize mechanical tools, torque tools, metric units, hydraulics and electrical components 4. Electronically and manually maintain documentation 5. Take initiative to identify, document, communicate and correct problems, report discrepancies and recommend solutions 6. Work and interact effectively in a team environment 7. Work with limited supervision |
Requirements: | 1. 2 years of experience in mechanic or assembly field or certified trade school/technical degree in a mechanical or manufacturing field 2. Read blueprints/engineering drawings 3. Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes and hoists |
Physical Requirements: | 1. Required Personal Equipment: hearing protection, safety glasses, steel toe/metatarsal foot gear, and as needed dust masks 2. Lift up to 35 lbs. frequently 3. Work at multiple heights 4. Climb on equipment, machines, ladders and various step stools 5. Stand for a minimum of 8 hour shifts with minimal breaks 6. Work in environment with frequently changing temperatures 7. Exposure to magnets that may impact medical devices 8. Kneel, squat, and crawl on knees 9. Work in tight spaces and awkward positions, including forward reach, lateral reach, squat, overhead reaching, twisting, and forward head and rotation of neck 10. Repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, rotating 11. Use of fine motor skills 12. Use of hand tools including wrenches, air tools, drills, cutters, tie wrap guns, pneumatic, vibratory, etc. Includes ability to pull manual torque tools to torque requirements (at least 250 Newton meters or 185 foot pounds) #Ind2 |
