About the Job
Repair all equipment-related problems within ability and advise supervisor of any
problems not repairable by mechanic;
Monitors all equipment for wear, misuse, or damage, and reports findings to their
supervisor;
Stops or resets machines when malfunctions occur and clears machine jams;
Verifies production paperwork against production orders and completes necessary
paperwork to ensure product specification;
Affixes pre-printed labels onto boxes and loads empty boxes in sequential order onto
conveyor belt or under machine (applicable to some departments);
Scans labels on boxes of finished product and moves boxes from conveyor belt or from
machine to designated location (applicable to some departments);
Maintains a clean and tidy work area;
Performs other duties as assigned or instructed.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
No previous experience
required – but it is preferred;
Excellent communication skills and ability to read/write in English is preferred;
Requires a strong mechanical aptitude.
