Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Enclosures assembly team, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage third-party contractors involved in electrical, HVAC, and other specialized aspects of enclosure fabrication.
- Oversee the assembly process, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Collaborate with the plant manager and supervisory team to streamline production processes and resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Participate in scheduling and resource allocation for the Enclosures department.
- Evaluate and provide feedback to new hires, contributing to the team's growth and development.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a fabrication, construction, or assembly environment.
- Experience in the automation industry is preferred, but candidates from general machine shops or custom assembly environments will be considered.
- Strong background in managing teams of skilled workers, such as electricians, machine builders, and machinists.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Familiarity with scheduling, resource allocation, and manufacturing processes is preferred.
Shift: Primarily works the first shift, starting as early as 6 AM, with the potential for overtime.
Pay: $35-$38/hr
