About the Job
Description:
The Assembly Technician is responsible for the assembly of valves. The Technician must be able to read and understand Engineering blueprints, follow work instructions precisely, and utilize any other approved and relevant documents for assembling valves. Exact demands will vary depending on the assigned job and station. The Technician may be required to be knowledgeable and competent in multiple stations within the Assembly department. The Technician exercises care and due diligence ensuring work instructions and procedures are followed and quality requirements are upheld (proper handling, visual appearance, and any other assembly specific quality elements).
Responsibilities
- Be able to work well under pressure and in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Exercise required care when assembling and handling parts.
- Able to use and learn/interpret various gauges, meters, and other instrumentation.
- Attentive to their work and workspace to see, notify, and/or prevent UVC.
Requirements
- Have a basic level of computer literacy.
- Is manually dexterous and works well with small hand-held parts.
- Be detail-oriented
- Able to work individually and in team settings as required.
- Can understand Engineering blueprints, work instructions, and other relevant documents.
- A background check and drug screen are contingent upon hiring
