Position Summary:

The Assembly Technician will be responsible for progressing the general duties and scope of work assigned by the Corporation.

Experience and Abilities:

• Any experience working with high-pressure plumbing.
• Ability to use measuring and diagnostic equipment to fault-find and validate mechanisms.
• Ability to read and understand process and instrumentation drawings will be highly favored
• Ability to layout, assemble, install, and test mechanical fixtures & control equipment
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, with basic knowledge and understanding of machine technology, power, and control devices
• Familiar with all relevant safety obligations and committed to ensuring the safety of your colleagues, equipment, and plant
• Abide by safe work standards, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), Fall Protection, Confined Spaces, and appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to maintain proper housekeeping to create a safe and efficient workplace environment.
• Operation of manual hand tools and power tools as required in assembly and validation work.
• Operation of material handling equipment, including manual and electric power jacks.
• Ability to work overtime as assigned and commit to a flexible work schedule around manufacturing demand.
• Ability to travel between 10% to 20% of the time and work overtime as needed.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the Corporation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience within a manufacturing assembly position; electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Have the physical ability to perform manual labor, which may include:
  • Climbing
  • Bending
  • Repetitive motions

Starting Salary: $18 - $20/hourly
