About the Job
- Record and maintain fixed asset schedule and policy
- Record and maintain capital expenditure budget
- Report to management status of capital budget and status of assets and depreciation
- Verify & post details of business transactions, such as funds paid & disbursed, & totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets & databases.
- Reconcile report discrepancies and problems, i.e., variances between reports and the general ledger.
- Code data for input to financial data processing system according to company procedures.
- Assist in budgeting and cost management.
- Record cost information for use in controlling expenditures.
- Compile cost information to be used in operating budget preparation.
- Lead and assist with special projects in the accounting departments.
- Ensure timely month end closing activities
- Lead departments managers and stakeholders to identify and improve efficiencies and reduce cost
- Work with auditors to provide timely reporting
- Understand and implement current accounting standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or equivalent work experience in related field.
- Experience in computer applications including Microsoft Office especially Excel

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
