VRC is seeking qualified Asset Inventory Specialist candidates. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain the asset and inventory of corporate assets. Work with business units to provision and deploy assets as needed and classify and dispose of equipment that is no longer needed or broken. The Asset Inventory Specialist will complete tasks with other team members under management supervision and when needed, will have the opportunity to cross train into other departments/divisions. All team members must have excellent computer skills, be able to multi-task, and problem solve. This position is a full-time, non-exempt, position located in our corporate office in Denton, TX and will report to the IT Compliance Lead.
The successful candidate will have related experience in one or more of the follow areas:
- Meeting deadlines/multitasking
- Knowledge of Systems Hardware and Components
- Good communication skills
- High level of organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications to include Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory of cellular telephones
- Provision and deploy cellular telephones
- Take in returning devices and prepare them for redeployment
- Image new computers and prepare them for deployment
- Manage and maintain inventory of non-IT equipment for new hires/remote staff
- Ship equipment to new/remote employees
- Maintain accurate counts of assets in inventory
- Work with HR to retrieve equipment from separating employees
- Work with IT and Training departments on the following:
- Desired inventory levels
- Procurement
- Equipment selection
- Equipment lifecycle
- Maintain and administer asset tracking system
- Properly dispose of e-waste according to policy/procedure
- Complete special projects as needed
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Microsoft Office Knowledge (1 year or more required)
- Be highly motivated and possess the ability to work under little supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meet individual and team performance standards while maintaining good attendance and dependability
- Must pass a drug test and pre-employment testing
- Upon hiring, you must proficiently learn and utilize all electronic tools as required within the scope of this position to include the company’s IMS case tracking system

Compensation:
VRC employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis at an hourly wage of $16.00 - $18.00 an hour to commensurate with experience. The Sign On Bonus will be paid out after 90 days of employment.
