About the Job
The Retirement Global Strategic Relations team is a critical part of the overall $300BN + Defined Contribution business at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. This team interfaces with partners in product, field sales, sub-advisory, marketing and operations. Their task is to bring record-keeping and investment placements, product design and field execution together to better serve our Defined Contribution clients.
As a Vice President in the Retirement Global Strategic Relations team at JPMorgan Asset Management, you will play a critical role in building our Defined Contribution presence with key broker-dealers, record-keepers, and analytic firms. You will support the broader team on their most complex clients through a combination of direct client work and analytic and strategic modeling. This role provides an opportunity to lead on selected broker-dealer, third party administrator, and other firms, and to contribute to the overall strategic infrastructure of our retirement national accounts.
Job Responsibilities
- Build strategic business plans for key relationships. Plans would include industry perspective, financial analysis, field execution plan, and key metrics for success
- Create and foster client relationships with important retirement stake-holders at covered firms.
- Build coverage, relationships and product placement with selected firms
- Build overall retirement national accounts strategic infrastructure
- Report progress to show success by firm in the field
- Structure for addressing sub-advised and co-manufactured opportunities
- Develop partnership strategy with Vestwell
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 5+ years in the defined contribution space
- Ability to build analytic business plans
- Quantitative ability to track and analyze data
- Ability to partner with internal and external clients.
- Proven ability to build consensus across diverse groups
- Execution and results-oriented mind-set
- Undergraduate degree
- Series 7 and 63
