Job Overview
The Asset Manager will play a key role in managing and optimizing investment portfolio, ensuring the growth and profitability of assets under management. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of previous experience in asset management, with bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management: Develop and implement strategies for managing and optimizing investment portfolios, including equities, fixed income, and alternative assets.
Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates, performance reports, and strategic advice.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and assess potential risks.
Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and client objectives.
Bilingual Communication: Provide support and communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking clients and partners, translating and interpreting as needed.
Requirement and Skills
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in asset management or a related field.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
Languages: Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English, with the ability to conduct business and provide written communication in both languages.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, portfolio management software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Location: Ability to commute to our New York office as required.
