As part of our Global Custody Asset Servicing Middle Office Risk team, you will play a crucial role in managing risks for complex corporate actions and income events, driving change, and enhancing our service solutions.
Job Summary:
As a Global Custody Asset Servicing Middle Office Risk Manager, you will manage the risk for complex voluntary corporate actions and income-related events across all asset classes and markets. You will collaborate with various teams to address complex queries and issues, and present risk issues to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making. Your role will be pivotal in influencing senior stakeholders and driving change across departments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise in technical, domain, and operational aspects of asset servicing.
- Recommend and implement process improvements and participate in strategic business initiatives.
- Drive change and firmwide initiatives, serving as an escalation contact for the team.
- Lead a team of Subject Matter Experts, providing direction and feedback.
- Mitigate and escalate identified risks and controls.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Extensive experience in Corporate Actions processing and Asset Servicing product lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of Corporate Actions and Income accounting entries.
- Thorough understanding of risks associated with Asset Servicing products.
- Experience in client service and middle office operations.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders across departments.
- Experience in investment banking or global custody operational areas (Trades, Cash, FX, and Reconciliations).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to deliver within tight timeframes and minimal supervision.
- Extensive experience in leading and developing large teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Alteryx.
