About the Job
An Assigned Brand Advisor (ABA) is fully dedicated to a “brand” or business unit within a retail store. Unlike the role of a Sales Professional, an ABA does not work in a multi-brand capacity. ABA’s are responsible for achieving / exceeding sales and service goals, as well as maintaining operational excellence within their brand’s boutique or business unit. An ABA must also act as the ultimate representative of their respective brand, while demonstrating CD Peacock’s Culture of Excellence. All ABA’s will report to the Business Manager of their brand or business unit.
Position Description
- Act as ultimate ambassador of the brand, modeling client-centric behaviors at all times
- Maintain and inspire clients with a deep knowledge of the brand’s heritage
- Acquire new customers with the long term goal of cultivating client relationships
- Build relationships and drive sales with clients through consistent outreach and follow-up
- Focus on high impact activities that will increase client conversion and retention to subsequently drive revenue and inspire loyalty to the brand
- Demonstrate a pro-active and solution oriented approach to consistently exceed client expectations
- Provide insight to the Business Manager and buying team on future buys and allocations
- Partner with Sales Professionals throughout the store to further engage CD Peacock’s clients
- Work with Sales Professionals (during appointments and walk-ins) to enhance the client experience and maximize selling
- Handle service requests, warranties and repairs, maintaining consistent follow-up with clients
- Uphold operational excellence by conducting routine inventories and executing price accuracy
- Uphold and maintain visual / merchandising standards throughout the boutique
- Take part in maintaining a clean, safe and conducive work environment for co-workers and clients in all areas of the front of house and the back of house
- Possess a thorough knowledge of all systems & software…including POS, CRM, Inventory Management Systems, iPhones, Microsoft Office & Teams and business related Apps
- Achieve and exceed individual sales and service goals through the effective use of selling techniques, clientelling, and product knowledge
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) tied to service and clientelling metrics; i.e secret shops, client surveys, retention rate, conversion rate, cross-selling and client growth
- Maximize learning opportunities via vendor immersions, sales & service trainings, product summits (if and when applicable), self guided learnings; including e-learnings and app based trainings
- Share brand relevant communications and key learnings with colleagues that work outside of the boutique
Position Requirements
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 15lbs
- Must be able to stand a minimum of 5 to 7 hours
- Must be on the salesfloor a minimum of 80% - 90% of the time
- Must be able to work (on average) between 35 – 40 hours per week
- Must utilize and be proficient in systems, software and technology, required to perform duties as a sales professional (including POS, CRM, IMS, iPhones, Microsoft Office / Teams and business related Apps)
- Must be fully flexible and available with scheduling and working weekends, evenings and holidays

- Prior experience in Luxury Retail / Jewelry & Watches is preferred but not required
