NOW HIRING An Assistant Accounting Manager :

The Assistant Accounting Manager will support the Accounting Manager in overseeing and enhancing the accounting processes within the organization. The ideal candidate will have some accounting management experience, particularly in managerial accounting, and will contribute to building a stronger financial foundation for the company. This role will assist in managing key accounting functions and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

What will I do?

• Assist the Accounting Manager in managing the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Help ensure that the company's accounting processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
• Aid in the planning, organization, and execution of all accounting activities, including accounts payable, purchasing, prepaid, accruals, and fixed assets.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations, and conducting detailed account analyses.
• Assist in overseeing accounts payable tasks to ensure timely processing and compliance with internal procedures.
• Help manage and reconcile the Fixed Assets sub-ledger with the corresponding general ledger, ensuring assets are tracked accurately, marked, and inventoried as required.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and analyses for use by management and other departments.
• Assist in providing insights and support for managerial accounting functions to enhance financial decision-making.
• Work closely with the accounting team to foster a productive and efficient environment, providing support where needed and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Position requirements:

• ERP system experience is preferred.
• Previous department Managing Experience is preferred.
