About the Job
Provides support to Project Coordinators and Project Managers, primarily focusing on tasks such as monitoring projects progress and communication between team menders and project staff. General administrative duties include but are not limited to preparing, reviewing and tracking project Submittal packages, Closeout documents, RFI’s, ASI’s Pay Applications and Change orders per project.
Ideal Candidate:
• Currently pursuing a degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, a related field, or possess equivalent prior experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in construction management software (such as Procore or Bluebeam), and foundational project management tools is a plus, but not a requirement.
• A general understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Competence in analyzing project documents, contracts, and construction plans.
• While not mandatory, prior internships or work experience in the construction or project management sectors can be advantageous.
• A keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment.
