Assistant Admissions Coordinator
West Meade Place is looking for an Assistant Admissions Coordinator to join our team. This position reports to the Admission's Coordinator. Conveniently located in West Nashville, West Meade Place offers a flexible, interdisciplinary approach to healthcare, focused on delivering care compassionately in a comfortable, nurturing setting.

West Meade Place is looking for an Assistant Admissions Coordinator to join our team. This position reports to the Admission's Coordinator. Conveniently located in West Nashville, West Meade Place offers a flexible, interdisciplinary approach to healthcare, focused on delivering care compassionately in a comfortable, nurturing setting.
Duties for this Assistant Admissions position include:
- Knowledge of the medical case management process, needs of geriatric patients, health care settings, working knowledge of funding resources such as Medicare Part A, B, C, and D, Medicaid, Managed Care etc.
- Verifying and explaining benefits
- One-on-one Casework with patient and patient representative
- Explaining admission documents, consents and insurance coverage
- Entering patient information into EMR
- Assist with room assignments
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate is detail oriented and should have experience in:
- Verification of Benefits
- Signing Admissions Documents both on electronic platforms and on paper
- Professionally represent West Meade Place to the public
