The Bank Manager is responsible for leading their teams through a multi-faceted sales process that creates positive customer experiences, uncovers customers’ goals and financial needs, and results in identifying appropriate Tri City products and services to meet those needs. They will coach, lead, and motivate employees to be effective in their roles. BankManagers are expected to expand the bank’s customer base and overall profitability by actively seeking business both inside and outside of the bank. They are expected to grow the deposit portfolio. They must be active in the communities they serve. Branch Managers are expected to communicate corporate updates, initiatives, and expectations to their team members. Bank Managers must be committed to the bank’s mission of making others successful.
Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships and business partnerships
- Establish and maintain strong merchant service relationships
- Increase customer deposit portfolio
- Readily offer insight and education to customers and branch staff
- Perform customer account reviews
- Make outbound customer relationship and sales calls
- Periodically visit local businesses for new or expanded sales opportunities
- Responsible for branch performance management
- Responsible for P&L management
- Responsible for branch marketing updates and sales campaign management
- Process consumer lending requests for Credit Builder loans, Auto loans, and Home Equity loans/lines
- Perform any additional duties, special projects and responsibilities as assigned
- Daily overdraft decisions
- Debit Card increase authorization
- Wire Transfer authorization
- Branch open / close responsibilities
- Actively involved in the hiring process
- Maintain a high school program relationship
- Employee management
- Create relationship development and sales plans
- Set performance expectations
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred, or equivalent bank work experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of bank/management experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Ethical team player
- Proven leadership qualities
- Ability to proactively solicit new business
- Thorough knowledge of the Bank’s products and services
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory, policy and compliance issues
- Strong background in sales and sales management practices
- Above average written and verbal communication skills
- Takes ownership of issues and exhibits strong problem solving skills
- Experience with branch operations
- Experience with consumer lending-including first mortgage origination a plus
