Assistant Billing Manager - E. Central Medical Management Inc. ECM

Established Medical Management company is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Billing Manager with a strong work ethic and exceptional communication skills. This position will work closely with the Billing Manager to provide day-to-day support and training to the billing department. In this role you will manage the billing processes, analyze billing data and ensure targets are being met. This position will also be responsible for working with our offshore department. The ideal candidate will have great organizational skills, maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure team accuracy to meet revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management: Maintain and update billing databases and systems. Analyze billing data and generate reports for management review.

Client Relations: Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and billing discrepancies. Collaborate with other departments including offshore department to resolve billing issues and enhance client satisfaction.

Team Support: Assist in training and mentoring billing staff. Support the Billing Manager in managing the team's workload and performance.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and implement best practices. Assist in the development of billing policies and procedures.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with medical billing and claims
• 2 years in a supervisory role
• Experience working with offshore team required
• Knowledge of insurance benefits and appeal processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required
• Great leadership and communication skills
