About the Job
Job Title: Branch Assistant I or II (depending on experience)
Status: Full-Time (40 hours a week, some Saturdays required)
Position Purpose
Assist the Branch Manager in assigned duties to provide quality member service. Coach and mentor staff as needed to achieve goals and develop skills. Ensure that established policies and procedures are followed and implemented to protect Granite Credit Union and its members. Assist in scheduling of employees. Assist in branch audits. Assist the branch to achieve all service and sales goals.
Essential Duties, Skills & Abilities
- Exhibit outstanding member services skills by applying Granite Credit Union Service Standards and Core Values.
- Proven ability to promote a team
- Ability to perform teller, new account and lending
- Serve as branch supervisor when Branch Manager is
- Ensure that all information and transactions regarding credit union members are kept confidential. Maintain the security of the work area and keep it organized and neat in
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with all people, including fellow employees, members, management staff, board members, and outside
- Attend meetings as
- Assist other employees in the branch by answering questions, solving problems and helping with complex work-related
- Professionally express oneself through written and oral
- Promote a professional appearance and
- Basic computer operating skills such as email, Microsoft Office,
- Ability to develop, train and motivate employees
Experience
At least two years of branch experience required with 6 months of lending experience preferred
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
