Pay: Commensurate with education and experience
Work Schedule: Generally 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. May include some evenings and weekends

Job Summary
Teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels using various instructional deliveries (e.g., traditional (face-to-face), hybrid, and fully online). To foster applied learning into the course design and engage with industry and local business community applied projects. To advance knowledge through scholarly activities (e.g., active involvement in committees, student mentorship, recruitment and retention initiative, outreach activities, etc.)
Essential Functions
Establishing key objectives for classes
Creating curriculum that accomplishes the set objectives
Developing a syllabus that outlines topics that will be explored and listing due dates for assignments and exams
Giving lectures and organizing activities to present material and deepen understanding of coursework
Answering student's questions and providing support to help them succeed
Job Duties
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the School Psychology program including practicum, and internship.
- Providing service to departmental, college, university, professional and community constituencies.
- Developing, fostering and maintaining relationships with local school districts and agencies; and attending relevant meetings
- Maintaining student data and contributing to the creation of the program annual report and accreditation and university reports
- Academic advisement to school psychology students as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
- Graduate level degree or higher in direct or closely related field
- Teaching experience
Faculty Requirements
- Minimum education - ED.S. in School Psychology
- Expertise and experience in psychoeducational assessment and the delivery of school-based prevention and/or intervention programs
- Professional experience in PK-12 schools
- Evidence of successful teaching experience in a NASP-approved program
- Successful experience working with diverse populations.
Required License/Certifications/Training:
- Licensure as a school psychologist in Kansas and/or National certification as a School Psychologist by NASP
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Evidence of promoting and supporting an inclusive environment for all
- Willingness to accommodate a variety of learning styles and strategies in instructional delivery and learning activities, including online and hybrid learning, flexible teaching methods, and applied learning approaches.
- Evidence of communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse students and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other faculty and professionals.
- Knowledge of NASP standards.

This position will start in August of 2025.
