YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR ASSISTANT CLUBHOUSE MANAGER
In our Assistant Clubhouse Manager role, you are responsible for ensuring a top-notch fine dining experience for all members and their guests. You oversee the front-of-house staff, providing guidance, training, and ongoing support to maintain the highest standards of service. It's crucial to maintain operational excellence by ensuring the dining room is always impeccably set and maintained to meet all health and safety standards. You also play a key role in team management by assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of food service and bar staff, conducting pre-shift meetings, and ensuring team professionalism and presentation. Collaboration is also vital, as you work closely with the leadership team to oversee inventory, monitor costs, and ensure the smooth operation of all dining services.
Here's what we need from you:
- Fine dining experience
- Proven leadership experience in a top-tier or upscale restaurant, hotel, or private club
- Knowledge of food preparation and presentation
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
- Ability to hold staff members accountable and set them up for success
- Ability to manage and work tables
- Ability to be articulate, tactful, courteous, and diplomatic with members, guests, and fellow employees
- Ability to stand and walk for several hours as well as balance a loaded tray and carry heavy items up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
