Knowledge of:

Principles, goals, and objectives of TVT and CIF.

Methods, techniques, procedures, and strategies concerning the development and maintenance of an effective interscholastic sports program.

Sports interest groups and organizations within the local community.

Modern trends and strategies pertaining to interscholastic sports.

Ability to:

Provide teaching and instruction in athletic skill development.

Analyze and assess interscholastic sports program needs, and offer recommendations pertaining to program revisions, additions, or deletions.

Understand and carry out oral and written directions with minimal accountability controls. In addition, communicate effectively orally and in writing.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT

NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching

NFHS Concussion in Sports

NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA)

First Aid/CPR

 

Pay Range

 

US Varsity Head Coach $30 per hour

JV Head Coach $25 per hour

Varsity/JV Assistant Coach $20 per hour

MS Head Coach $25 per hour

MS Assistant Coach $18 per hour
