Join us. **Job Description** The Leeding Builders Group, an entity of AECOM, has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Construction Project Manager for our ongoing construction projects in New York City. + Under moderate supervision assists the Project Management team with management administration on a moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a large size and scope project, following set guidelines for completion of tasks. + Employee receives moderate to limited supervision working from objectives set by supervisor. Employee organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions, or previous training. + May interface with design team. + May work closely with BIM team and use modelling software. + May interact with Superintendents to address project questions/issues. + Assists with and monitors change orders. + May assist with regulatory compliance and financial reporting. + Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract. + Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate. + Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed. + May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies. **About Construction Management—Leeding Builders Group (LBG)** Leeding Builders Group (LBG) is a New York-based construction manager specializing in open shop commercial, residential and hospitality projects. As a separately branded entity of the AECOM Construction Management group, LBG operates independently with its own management structures and resources. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirement:** + BA/BS Engineering, Construction Management or similar curriculum and two years of relevant construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. **Preferred Requirements:** + Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering degree preferred. + Experience working for a large General Contractor. + Ability to navigate construction sites and interface with various project members. + Knowledge of basic construction principles. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). + Ability to work independently, exercising acceptable protocols and construction site safety. **Additional Information** + This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future. + Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. + Remote work is not available for this position. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
