Location – Department of Navy Chief Information Officer's (DON CIO) Information Technology – Arlington, VA (Pentagon)
Pay Rate – $70,000 - $80,000
2 years left on the contract – contract will then go out to rebid
**Must have at least a Secret Clearance
Mindbank Consulting Group has an immediate need for an Assistant Contract Technical Representative (ACTR) Help Desk Specialist.
Assistant Contract Technical Representative (ACTR) Help Desk Specialist Responsibilities:
· Provide IT support to the Department of Navy at the Pentagon.
· Monitoring, reviewing, interpreting, evaluating and reporting on technical aspects of the Navy Marine Corp Internet (NMCI) operation.
· Provide the interface between technical aspects of NMCI and the operational requirements of the command.
· Assists customers with ordering, analysis, evaluation and preparation of recommendations for improvements, optimization, developments and/or maintenance of NMCI/CosC/NGEN/NGEN-R services.
· Operates as the liaison between the technical development team and multiple business units across the client organization.
· Functions as a liaison with higher level Command Contract Technical Representatives (CTRs) on NMCI-related issues.
· Develops, interprets, plans, and applies policy, process, procedure, and strategy in the delivery of multi-discipline IT services required to achieve data and system integration/interoperability supporting OPNAV.
· Maintains current knowledge of client systems and subsequent upgrades or changes.
· Provides technical support for program personnel in various locations who have NMCI assets and peripherals.
· Provides government approved brief on security responsibilities to OPNAV Staff.
· Determines and orders NGEN/NMCI service requirements for new personnel.
· Transfers existing or creates new NGEN/NMCI user accounts, ensures user System Authorization Access Request-Navy (SAAR-N) forms are completed and routed to the Command Information Assurance Manager (IAM).
