Our Accounting & Finance Staffing team is currently looking to speak with candidates who would be a good fit for roles with the specifications below:
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight on quarterly / annual financial statements for the firm's funds
- Collaborate and review capital call and distribution calculations and deliverables performed by the fund administrators
- Monitor the firm's cash management and internal controls, ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- Assist with the tax preparation and K-1 filing information provided to tax teams for quarterly tax estimates and annual returns
- Assure the distribution of capital calls / investment pools across the firm's funds
- Work closely with the CFO and Controller on internal / external audit processes
- Act as the firm's soundboard for any accounting / finance / reporting issue building strong relationships throughout the organization and with fund administrators, custodians and external auditors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public / private; CPA license a plus
- Exposure to fund / partnership accounting or experience working with PE / hedge funds a plus
- Strong knowledge with US GAAP and other accounting policies
- Sharp analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal skills to cultivate positive working relationships and outcomes with global stakeholders and team members
