About the Company and Opportunity of Assistant Controller:

• Our client is seeking an Assistant Controller to help lead the accounting team to the next level

Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller role:

• The Assistant Controller will report to the CEO and manage all accounts
• Maintaining general ledger
• Handles the entire month-end close process
• High volume account reconciliations
• General ledger entries and journal entries
• Liaison with external auditors
• Oversee all balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with insurance and 401k audits

Preferred Qualifications for the Assistant Controller role:

• 5+ years of experience
• Experience handling the month-end close process
• 1+ years of experience managing a team under them
• Advanced Excel - VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables

Salary: $86,250 - $96,250 depending on experience
