Job Summary and Qualifications

• The Assistant Controller is responsible for the overall operations of Finance.
• Reviewing of the General Ledger for accuracy, maintaining current balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset system.
• Supervising payroll, ensuring that all current payroll policies and practices are followed, accurate, and are implemented in a timely manner.
• Responsible for assisting and monitoring the Account Payable function, located at the Supply Chain Services, to ensure that vendors are paid timely and according policy.
• All of the above in accordance with facility, Corporate, Federal, State, and Local Regulations. 

What qualifications you will need:

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• CPA is encouraged.
• If non-degreed, six (6) years’ experience as a Staff Accountant in a healthcare environment.
• Three years of experience as a Staff Accountant in a healthcare environment.
