OVERVIEW OF THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER ROLE:

• Oversee comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and reporting for both entities.
• The Assistant Controller leads month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Establish and manage financial policies, procedures, and controls to protect assets and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to senior leadership.
• The Assistant Controller will collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives and support business growth.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, promoting continuous learning and growth.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ASSISTANT CONTROLLER:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
