Assistant Controller - South Metro Atlanta - Creative Financial Staffing

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Assistant Controller will manage the accounting operations, including the monthly close, financial reporting, and compliance with US GAAP. This role will collaborate with site management to ensure sound financial processes across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, forecasts, and budgets
• Supervise staff in financial reporting, billing, collections, and payroll
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards
• Develop internal control policies to mitigate risks
• Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Advise management on financial objectives and resource utilization
• Lead training in budgeting and financial management

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required)

Experience:

• 5+ years in accounting in a proven leadership capacity, with audit and corporate experience preferred

Certifications:

• CPA is a plus but not required.
