Job Responsibilities of an Assistant Office Manager:
- Assist with treatment coordination.
- Update insurance breakdowns as needed for all patients.
- Facilitate in-office collection of patient copays.
- Assist with insurance aging as needed.
- Assist with daily office duties, which includes:
- Check-in/Check-out patients as needed.
- Answer phones as needed.
- Present treatment plans as needed.
- Audit Doctor and Hygiene schedule for any mistakes, issues, etc.
- Ensure the office is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensure daily collection, production, and Google review goals are met.
- Ensure recall and capacity scheduling goals are met.
- Manage day-to-day interactions between employees and patients.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in using Open Dental software, demonstrating ease and confidence in its application.
- Business Acumen: Possess a fundamental grasp of business accounting and Excel proficiency.
- Leadership Acumen: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, driving them towards a common goal.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, embodying leadership, professionalism, and empathy.
- Attention to Detail: Display meticulous attention to detail when overseeing patient records, appointments, and financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.
