Masonic Village at Elizabethtown is hiring a Assistant Dining Room Supervisor. This is a Full Time position that includes working every other weekend.

What You'll Do:
As a Assistant Dining Room Supervisor, you will carry out our Mission of Love by assisting in coordinating and supervising customer relations and services, event organizing, marketing, and training of employees in the Restaurant at Clubhouse and Courtyard Cafe, Restaurant at Eisenlohr, Restaurant at Grand Lodge Hall, Three Loaves Cafe, Pub and/or Freemason Terrace View. Our Assistant Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for the following:
- Knowledge of Federal, State and local regulations that pertain to food and nutritional care in a long term care setting, and the Pennsylvania Liquor Law pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages. Knowledge of local, state and federal sanitation regulation and HACCP guidelines and the ability to implement effective food safety programs, includes both sanitation and HACCP, in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Knowledge of style of dining services and quality of food preparation, banquet management, effectively integrating appropriate services to each dining area and function.
- Proficient in managing proper inventory and ordering of non-food supplies used in the Food Services Department.
- Direct seating of residents and servers to assure proper dining services. Maintains prompt and courteous service, making adjustments following complaints.
- Coordinate the setting up tables and the serving of food for regular and special meals.
- Inspect the dining room and equipment for cleanliness and condition, and generate work order if necessary.
- Maintain record of meals served to residents, visitors, and cash operation daily.
- Arrange work schedules and assigns duties in the absence of the Dining Room Supervisor.Processes bi-weekly payroll in the absence of the Dining Room Supervisor.
- Prepare menus and reports for distribution as directed by the Dining Room Supervisor.
- Maintain Food Services' systems such as resident comment data base, Card Watch, Resident billing system (MVP cards), and Computrition related process at Masonic Village at Elizabethtown.
What You Definitely Have:
- One to two years of experience in hospitality industry supervision required.
- Good written and oral communication and proficient with computer applications
- CPR certification or willing to obtain upon employment required.
- A minimum of an associate's degree in hospitality or hotel management preferred.
