About This Role
NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising invites applications for an Assistant Director, Programs and Projects.Under the leadership of the Director of Strategic Initiatives, this position will provide leadership over vital activities of the Advising Communities Division and Administrative Division and oversee operations and logistics of online events sponsored by NACADA. This position will be responsible for working with Advising Community Chairs, Committee Chairs, Advisory Board Chairs, and Division Representatives to manage activities around member engagement, professional development, mentorship programming, DEISJ-focused activities, and governance.

What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and three to five years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word; strong attention to detail and timelines; excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated reliable work performance; demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a wide range of individuals, groups, and volunteers; proficiency in Microsoft Access; proficiency in Qualtrics; and proficiency in Canvas or other learning management systems; evidence of experience with planning and delivery of initiatives that advance diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace or for an entire organization.
