Overview:
GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the general direction of the Senior Associate or designee, the Associate III will assist in the development, management, coordination and implementation of revenue initiatives for products and projects; both in and out of state.
Responsibilities:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the development, management, coordination and implementation of revenue initiatives, in and out of state.
- Lead in the analysis and evaluation of data to support projects in and out of state.
- Lead in the research & development of new business opportunities.
- Manage assigned projects from start to finish.
- Develop work plans; plan resource requirements.
- Participate in the development of agreements between public entities and the University.
- Assist in the evaluation and respond to grant and business proposals by providing reporting and data analysis.
- Develop and present success, merits of initiative to staff and clients.
- Research and develops work plans to implement projects.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain databases for various revenue initiatives.
- Lead in the development of project budget projections and actual comparisons.
- Support Senior Associate with forecasting and product/product pricing.
- Assist with preparing internal budgets.
- Participate in training staff (in and out of state) in types of reimbursable initiatives.
- Prepare federal claims for reimbursement.
- Communicate with clients about status of their projects. Respond to client needs and requests promptly.
- Oversee the preparation of all assigned internal and external reports. Reviews all reports for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Decides the need for new or revised reports.
- Provide training to other staff on specific subject matter.
- Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement program.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in a business related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting State and Federal regulations as they apply to public assistance programs.
- Project management skills and experience in implementing and project management of large projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge in general accounting principles and budgeting.
- Experience in supervision and/or demonstrate ability to manage and motivate staff.
- Expertise in computer based tools, including spreadsheets, database management, and word processing.
- Ability to travel to off-site locations
