Summary of Role:
MTC is looking for an Asst. Director with a passion for empowering people with disabilities.
The Asst. Director will plan and orchestrate community-based fundraising events and awareness campaigns to promote MTC's mission and vision of full inclusion for people with all disabilities. This will include coordinating promotional activities, venue logistics, sponsorships, ticket sales, marketing materials, and other related tasks with flair and creativity.
Cultivate, nurture, and amplify relationships with local businesses, community partners, and current/prospective donors through proactive fundraising efforts such as program tours, visits and board lead Epic tours.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Development to implement a development plan which increases revenue and brand awareness to support the strategic direction of MTC.
- Assist as needed on various outreach events.
- Research and identify donor opportunities.
- Oversee MTC's Volunteer Program, including processing and tracking of applicants to the program, recruitment and training of new volunteers and be the main point of contact for the program.
- Attend community events, bringing awareness to how the community can engage with our work.
- Donor database oversight.
- Establish and maintain positive and collaborative relationships, both internally and externally.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
- Works to build an environment that promotes and facilitates the success of inclusivity.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of philanthropic experience in non-profit donor setting.
- 1+ years of project management experience.
Experience Preferred:
- Graphic design skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with stewardship, donor data collection, and database management.
- Having a keen eye for detail and a collaborative spirit.
Educational/Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience in business administration or related field.

- MS Suite.

Physical/Driving Requirements:
- Must have valid driver's license and insurance coverage.
- Must be able to lift up-to 25lbs.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel to donor sites and events.
Language Requirements:
- English proficiency for written and spoken.
