Assistant Director of Compensation - Consultant Role

Our client is seeking a "temporary" Assistant Director of Compensation with in-depth compensation experience.
You would be supporting their North America Region and working in tandem and reporting to their Global Compensation Leader.
They are specifically looking for expertise in managing end-to-end compensation programs, including merit increases, and Annual Incentive Plans (AIP).
Ideally, the ADC Consultant would have experience in:
- Leading annual merit and budget planning processes.
- Conducting in-depth analysis and developing reports on salary ranges and pay equity.
- Designing modern compensation strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Managing compensation projects and collaborating on initiatives like job architecture and grading.
- Partnering with HR and business leaders to address complex compensation scenarios.
- Leading two (2) Junior Analysts, helping address more complex issues and providing support to align priorities.
Job Summary:
Manages the organization's compensation function and administers compensation related programs and policies in conjunction with the Director of Compensation.
Job Duties:
Oversees base salary and incentive programs, job evaluations, and the budget planning process.
Conducts market analysis of company jobs to determine the competitive positioning of the organization's pay programs with an eye towards modern compensation strategies to attract top talent.
Participates in annual salary administration programs, including salary structure creation and maintenance and development of incentive or salary increase budgets.
Ensures that all compensation-related activities are in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Partners with HR and business leaders to address complex compensation scenarios.
Leads and supports two (2) Junior Analysts, helping to align priorities and address complex issues.
Hours are:
Monday - Friday - working a normal 8-hour day, totaling 40 hours per week
Work schedule is:
Hybrid schedule. Days worked on-site and remotely to be determined with Director.
Length of Assignment is:
Approximately six (6) months.

Required Experience:
Experience and Education needed:
In-depth understanding of compensation concepts and principles.
Bachelor's degree and at least 8+ years of experience, including prior management experience, is required.
Experience with mid- to large sized matrixed organizations.
Global compensation experience preferred.
Familiarity with WTW software is a plus!
