Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Housekeeping in overseeing all housekeeping operations
- Ensure adherence to cleanliness standards and implement quality control measures
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs and resolve any issues
- Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment
- Monitor and report on housekeeping performance metrics
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure rooms and public areas meet established standards
- Assist in the development and implementation of housekeeping policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in housekeeping
- Deep knowledge of housekeeping operations, industry best practices, and cleanliness standards
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Proficient in housekeeping software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
