Assistant Director of Nursing

Heritage Ridge Senior Living at Windy Hill  offers short and long-term nursing and rehabilitation care in a secure and caring environment. When a resident is admitted to our home, our skilled team of trained professionals meets with the resident and family member, providing a unique and highly personalized plan of care.

Responsibilities of ADON:

• Ensure that all nursing personnel in our facility comply with established standards, practices and regulatory requirements for the highest quality of resident care.
• Supoorting the Director of Nursing in her functions as needed
• Support the development and implementation of nursing department budgets in coordination with the facility administration.
• Implementing compliance and quality improvement policies, programs and procedures.
• Function as a Staff Development Coordinator for the facility; maintaining regulatory compliance for education for all departments.
• Function as Employee Health nurse; maintaining employee health records per state and federal regulations.
• Provide mandatory in-services which are in compliance with State and Federal guidelines
• Responsible for the development of standardized lessons plans for employee orientation and in-services
• Maintain adequate records of in service programs attended by all staff

Requirements:

• Current IV certification preferred
• Long term care experience: 2-3 plus years
• Staff Education experience preferred
• Required license: Current state RN license
