Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - Empowered Staffing

Empowered Staffing is partnered with a healthcare group dedicated to providing care to residents with developmental disabilities. The company is currently looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join their team in Bellwood, IL, and partner with the Director of Nursing to mentor and lead the clinical team.

The ADON will play a vital role in managing the clinical staff and ensuring high-quality care to the residents. You will also assist with various administrative tasks, including scheduling, ordering supplies, hiring, and other duties as assigned by the DON. This position offers a flexible schedule, PTO, benefits, and a 401k.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the overall clinical operations of the facility.

• Collaborate with the DON to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.

• Manage and supervise clinical staff, providing guidance and support, and fostering a positive work environment.

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of clinical staff, providing coaching and feedback as needed.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies and protocols.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and enhance resident care plans.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) (preferred) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Illinois.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate and develop a team.

• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Proficient in computer systems and healthcare software.

• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to resident care.
