Peace Healthcare at Ridgeway Manor is a 61-bed skilled nursing facility, located in Catonsville, Maryland. Our top priority is providing respectful, compassionate and exceptional care to seniors in Catonsville, and the surrounding community. We treat our residents like family from the moment you arrive. This position is a full time, salaried position, with ocassional on-call and weekend availibility needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current nursing licensure
- Must possess active nursing license in the state of Maryland
- Minimum 1 year full-time or equivalent clinical experience preferred
- Two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing with one year as an educator preferred
- Excellence in clinical nursing skills required
- Experience in Gerontology preferred
JOB SUMMARY: In accordance with facility policies and procedures, the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) assists in ensuring the nursing department provides consistent, attentive, and efficient care to residents. The ADON is responsible for monitoring nursing staff, nursing activities, and patient care, as well as ensuring nursing activities are in compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reports eporting directly to the Director of Nursing and covering when the Director of Nursing is not in the facility
- Creates a safe, healthy work environment that supports delivery of high-quality resident care
- Creates a culture where highly engaged team members are able to contribute to the best in resident care and to grow professionally
- Assures the best resident care by supervising and directing Nursing Personnel
- Serves as a liaison for all nursing staff and nurse management
- Makes decisions regarding nursing and unit problems
- Participates in facility surveys
- Communicates effectively with staff, physicians, and resident’s families
QUALIFICATIONS:
