Hello, Oak Creek Rehabilitation in Kimberly, ID is actively looking to hire a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing/ Infection Control Nurse.

Job Description:

Assist the Director of Nursing with:

• Active management of clinical systems
• Nursing staff scheduling, interviewing, hiring/firing
• Team building, morale building, motivating the clinical team to provide the finest patient care
• Assist with development/maintenance of nursing programs and activities
• Complete medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charts, etc.
• Any additional functions as directed by the DON
• Regularly conduct rounds to collect infection data from departments
• Analyze data on healthcare-associated infections, keep accurate records of findings
• Make recommendations on findings to management

Requirements:

• Minimum associate degree. Bachelor's degree preferred
• RN or LPN license in good standing
• Minimum one year of successful nursing leadership experience in a long-term care facility preferred
• Minimum two years' skilled nursing facility nursing experience required
• Must show ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner
• Must speak and understand English
