About the Job
The Gardens at Camp Hill is seeking an Assistant Director Of Nursing / Infection Preventionist RN for our skilled nursing facility in Camp Hill, PA.
The Assistant Director of Nursing RN / Infection Preventionist is responsible for the overall organization of the nursing department, and for the prevention, investigation, monitoring and reporting of the spread of diseases in hospital.
Shift: Full time M-F 8:30a - 500pm, and occasionally some pick-up shifts on weekends either 3p-11p or 11p-7a.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Nursing Service Department
- Participate in interviewing and screening residents for admission to the facility
- Review nurses’ notes to ensure proper documentation is maintained relating to resident’s treatment, medications, and conditions
- Assist the Resident Assessment/Care Plan Coordinator in planning, scheduling, and revising the MDS, including the implementation of RAP’s and triggers.
- Provides Orientation for all new Employees and ongoing training for all current Employees
- Plans and schedules In-services with speakers from inside and outside Company
- Maintains master Training Planner/Schedule for all departments
- Ensures all required In-services are conducted annually
- Maintains reports and Training Records of all training conducted
Qualifications:
- Current RN License in good standing.
- A minimum of 1 years’ RN Supervisory experience as an ADON in long term care setting
