Why an Assistant Director of Property Management with AOII:
As the Assistant Director of Property Management (ADPM) with AOII, you will be a key member of the Property Management team. This is done through providing a customer-centric focus to colleagues, House Directors, volunteers, and chapter leadership ensuring stakeholder’s needs are being met. The primary focuses for the ADPM is to maintain a keen eye on safety, maintenance, and competitive housing. The ADPM at AOII will interact frequently with the AOII Property team and AOII stakeholders.

Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity (AOII) has been a pillar in the Fraternity/Sorority Life community since its founding date of January 2, 1897, at Barnard College. Since that date AOII has established chapters on over 200 college campuses across the United States and Canada and initiated more than 200,000 members. Reports to:
- Director of Property Management
Direct supervisor responsibilities to:
- No supervisor responsibilities
Essential Duties or Functions:
- Field emails and calls requesting assistance with projects, repairs, maintenance, and routine operations
- Responsible for oversight of all repair and maintenance in facilities
- Responsible for initiating quotes from vendors, 3 quote minimum
- Initial review of vendor contracts
- On call for emergency emails and/or phone calls relating to house operations
- Work with Assistant Director of Properties (ADP) on closing of chapter facilities for breaks and summer
- Maintain a strong relationship with AOII stakeholders and local employees
- Follow all operational processes and reporting to ensure adequate communication of key stakeholders
- Assist with any complaints on the chapter facility
- Report needed large projects for future Capex
- Work with ADPs on budgetary line items for each academic year
- Assist in education and training for volunteers and local employees
- On-site property assessments
- Assist in future project planning
- Day to day communication with vendors
- Invoice review and approval
- Work with Headquarters Staff on the overall health of chapters
Assistant Director of Property Management must be able to Demonstrate:

- Skills in assisting in future project planning
- Strong presentation skills regarding analysis on property assessments, overall chapter health and recommendations on future Capital Expenditure projects
- Strong budget management skills
- Dedication to providing equitable and inclusive treatment of colleagues, House Director, volunteers, and chapter leadership
- Strong desire for diversity in colleagues, House Director, volunteers, and chapter leadership
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to effectively read, write, and speak the English language
- Physical mobility and dexterity to transport files and operate general office equipment (telephone, fax, copier, computer, etc.)
- Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Must be able to work evening and weekend functions as necessary
- Must be willing and able to travel significantly, possibility of international travel; must have or able to obtain passport
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Two years of relevant experience preferred
- Membership in a Fraternity/Sorority preferred
Working Conditions:
- Office setting based in Brentwood, TN, remote work capable
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on the computer
- Must be able to lift up-to 15 pounds at times
Salary Range:
- $47,500 – $50,000
