Assistant Director of Security - Ramaz School

TheAssistant Director of Security reports to the Director of Security.

RESPONSIBILITIESAND DUTIES INCLUDE:

·       Work closely with the Director of Security ensuring the safety and security of the school in every respect; ensuring that students are properly supervised whenever necessary.

·       Work on all security grant and funding paperwork.

·       Help coordinate work schedules for all of the school security guards.

·       Work cooperatively with the Ramaz sister institution, Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun, on all building security as it pertains to the school operations.

·       Work with the Director of Security on Emergency Management Handbooks for employees.

·       Coordinate security trainings for Ramaz employees with NYPD Shield and other outside providers.

·       Monitor safety and security situations in the areas surrounding the Ramaz buildings.

·      Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time according to the needs of the school, possibly in any of the Ramaz facilities or at any Ramaz programs. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of three years of experience in security management, facilities/operations management, AND former/retired law enforcement officer.
