Hourly Rate: Up to $18.50 per hour

Who We Need:
We are currently looking for an Assistant Employment Specialist who has a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities. The Assistant Employment Specialist will train our consumers on fundamental vocational skills and serve as a liaison between enclave partners and other Employment Specialists.
What We Need:
- Deescalate behaviors and/or utilize appropriate ABT and/or Crisis Management Techniques and intervene in crisis situations in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely completion of required documents.
- Perform task analysis on consumers and identify strengths and deficiencies.
- Train consumers on fundamental vocational skills and use of adaptive equipment.
- Provide instruction on successful completion of all tasks associated with consumers' job and maintain quality controls.
- Provide direction and re-direction to consumers when needed.
- Document consumers' progress through writing in progress notes, goal monitoring and production notes.
- Transport consumers to and from enclave and work sites as needed.
- Provide physical care for Individuals as needed on a daily basis.
- Must fully cooperate with all investigations, internally and externally including full cooperation with the Department of Human Services (DHS), the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), the agency's Quality Assurance (QA) department, and any other duly authorized persons.
What You Need:
- Associates degree in Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Special Education or related field preferred OR equivalent experience.
- Prior experience working with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Valid driver's license (less than 3 suspensions and/or points in the past 3 years)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
