About the Job
We are looking for an Assistant Event Manager who is a self-starter and will support and work with the Events Division Operations Team to ensure the smooth coordination of our events portfolio. We don't want just anybody, we want the best. (The definitive position title and internal corporate level will be established through a sequence of interviews and assessments)
Responsibilities:- Tracking Deadlines
- Creating events within Cvent & pulling reports from system
- Daily excel usage (filtering, sorting, merging) & data entry
- Proofing & editing event material
- Coordinating/communicating with all event vendors, sponsors, speakers, and attendees
- Manage key stakeholders by sector/practice area to ensure expectations are met/exceeded, timelines are heeded
- Develop excellent quality content
- Work with a global team of experts to create a powerful customer experience
- 4-6 Years of previous Experience with Events Management
- Cvent knowledge Preferred
- Excel Familiarity (Basic Sorting, Filtering etc.)
- Creative Spirit
- Qualitative Research Skills - How & Why
- Deadline Driven
- Multi-tasker
- Personable- Must be comfortable & have experience working with c-suite individuals
- Hard worker, not afraid of long hours approaching deadlines
- Freely gives and receives feedback
- Ability To Travel (4-7 weeks per year, must be willing to be away for up to 1 week at a time for some events)
- Are Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Take ownership to work independently
