Assistant Event Manager - OED Solutions

We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join us as an Event Assistant. In this role, you'll play an essential role in supporting the seamless execution of our events, working closely with event managers and coordinators.

Key Responsibilities

• Event Planning Support: Collaborate with event managers in planning and executing all aspects of events, including venue selection, logistics coordination, and vendor management.
• Administrative Assistance: Draft event timelines, prepare necessary documents, and maintain event databases.
• On-Site Management: Assist with attendee registration, manage event materials, and address inquiries during events.
• Marketing & Promotions: Help create promotional content, including presentations, social media posts, and email campaigns.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open communication with clients, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and analyze event data to measure effectiveness and gain insights for future events.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to achieve project objectives and meet deadlines.

What We're Looking For

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in event planning, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
• Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Adaptability: Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
